Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel MRI Technologist - Level I Trauma Center Location: Albany, NY Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Four 10-hour shifts) Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Travel Contract Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Work collaboratively with physicians and staff to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Operate MRI scanners and peripheral equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety Provide compassionate care, particularly for trauma, emergency, inpatient, ICU, and research patients Requirements ARRT (MRI) Certification required New York State DOH License in Radiologic Technology (must be active before start) Minimum 2 years of MRI experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma or Academic setting BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) Proficiency with advanced imaging techniques and MRI-guided procedures Strong knowledge of safety protocols, especially in high-acuity and ICU environments Experience with EPIC and PACS systems preferred What We Offer Competitive travel pay packages Weekly direct deposit Full health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Travel and housing assistance Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment About HumanEdge Travel Healthcare HumanEdge Allied Health is a full-service nursing and allied health staffing agency that has lived and breathed staffing for more than 30 years, making us one of the most trusted in the industry!
