🏥 Job Title: MRI Technologist

• Hours per Week: 15
• Hours per Day: 7.5
• Days per Week: 2 (Saturday & Sunday, 12 AM - 8 AM)
• Must have 2 years minimum MRI experience
• Must have GE scanner experience

📝 Job Summary:

This position operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. Applies the necessary technical judgment to obtain studies of acceptable diagnostic quality according to written protocols and patients' needs.

⚙️ Job Responsibilities:

• Performs MRI imaging procedures.
• Positions patients and associated coils to obtain optimum study.
• Provides patient education relevant to specific imaging procedures, including procedure nature, imaged area, and instructions.
• Reviews all patient safety questionnaires prior to introducing patients into the MRI scan room.
• Ensures all MRI images are appropriately labeled as specified by department SOP.
• Evaluates images for technical acceptability and ensures timely transmission to PACS.
• Completes studies in IDX (Radiology Information System) promptly.

🧠 Skills & Experience:

Required:

• Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and M.R. physics.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.

Preferred:

• Minimum two (2) years' experience in MRI.

🎓 Education:

Required:

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.

📜 Certifications & Licensure:

Required:

• NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology.
• A.R.R.T. MRI registry.
• BCLS Certified.

Weekly Breakdown:Weekly Gross: $1,067.00 Per WeekOn W2(Taxable): $255.00 Per WeekStipend(Non-Taxable): $812.00 Per Week
