Talent4Health is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Meade, Kansas.

Shift : 7a-5p M-F + Call rotation after hours and on weekends! Participate in on-call rotations and cover weekends and holidays as assigned (at least: 1–2 weekday calls, 1 weekend per month, rotating holidays). Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required. • MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred or eligible within a specified timeframe. • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities: • Meet attendance and punctuality standards. • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures. • Maintain patient and system confidentiality. • Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids (blood, urine, spinal fluid) to identify normal and abnormal components. • Perform automated and manual hematology testing, studying blood cells for counts and morphology. • Conduct blood group, type, and compatibility testing for transfusions; record reactions and enter results into the computer system. • Perform urinalysis and serology testing according to established protocols; document results appropriately. • Set up, read, and report results from bacteriological cultures. • Conduct quality control studies to ensure accuracy of clinical data and document findings and actions taken. • Record and monitor daily temperatures of instruments, refrigerators, freezers, and laboratory rooms. • Perform and document routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment according to schedules and procedures. • Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
