Job Description

The MS RN will work within the Oncology unit, providing exceptional care to patients diagnosed with Cancer, Hematology, Endocrinology, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine. The role requires floating to other areas as needed and entails handling a variety of diagnoses and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, including chemotherapy and required drips such as Heparin and Lasix.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes as necessary.
• Utilize specialty equipment, including IV pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg with oncology experience required.
• Active RN license in New York, verified through NURSYS.
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Skills checklist matching the specialty is required.
• Two recent MS Charge/Manager RN references.
