- Manage care of highest acuity patients with neuro/trauma background
- Orientation includes hospital-based learning classes and unit preceptorship
- Patient ratio typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1 for stable patients
- Floating to other units required
- Unit has 34 beds
- EMR system: Cerner
- Dept scrub color: Navy
- Job Requirements
- 3 years of ICU RN experience or more
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH certification
- Travelers must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected
- Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted
- Schedule Information
- Shift: Nights, 5p-5a
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit: MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU) and ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU)
- Unit has 34 beds
- Floating to other units required
- Dept scrub color: Navy
