This role focuses on performing diagnostic laboratory tests, ensuring accurate results, and contributing to quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing on patient specimens following established procedures. Ensure proper patient identification, specimen collection, and data entry into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Analyze, interpret, and report test results while identifying critical values. Conduct and monitor quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory standards. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment. Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs. Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols. Qualifications: Certification: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification through ASCP (required). Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Experience: Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
