Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Behavioral Health (Variable Shifts)

Location: Coalinga, CAEmployment Type: Contract (W2)Contract Length: 26 or 52 weeksSchedule: 5x8s (40 hours/week)Start Date: 9/1 (tentative, flexibility required)Orientation: Begins 9/1 (approx. 30 days; no RTO allowed during this period)

• Behavioral Health setting within a secure treatment environment
• Variable shifts; candidates must be flexible
• Orientation and initial training conducted on day shift
• No patient care during initial training; focus on medication certification and facility integration
• Shadowing includes patient population familiarization and unit orientation
• Patient ratios within California state guidelines
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
• No on-call requirement

• Licensure: Active CA LVN license (must be current at time of submission)
• Certifications: BLS required

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty required; travel experience preferred

• EMR: Paper Charting
• Scrubs: Any color; navy or black preferred
• PPE: Provided on-site
• Parking: Available at facility
• Facility type: Secure behavioral health center with a therapeutic focus and minimal aggression
• Facility amenities include recreational areas and structured programming
