Core Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements* Specialty: Labor and Delivery* Discipline: RN* Start Date: ASAP* Duration: 13 weeks* 36 hours per week* Shift: 12 hours* Employment Type: Travel$29.14Hourly RateMeals & Incidentals$1,246.00Total Allowance per Week$2,295.04Gross Weekly PayACLS, NRP, BLSEpic required1 L&D D/N Rot and weekend flex6/23 start preferredDepartment: Labor & Delivery | RN*Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EMF Intermediate certification preferred, STABLE preferred*- # of L&D Beds: 6 LDRP beds- # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: None - C-sections done in Main OR.- # of Triage beds: 0- # of Postpartum beds: 0- # of Births per day/Month/ Year: about 17/month; 220/year- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Yes- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EMF Intermediate certification preferred,STABLE preferred.- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Labor, delivery, post-partum, mom/babe couplets. >34weeks, under 34 weeks transferred out. Do not do VBACs or TOLACs. Well baby nursery - can doIV ABX, IV dextrose, feeders/growers, bili babies. Can take post-surgicals on the unit (post-appe,post-chole, etc.). C-sections done in Main OR. Do not need to be able to circulate or recover.- Experience/Must have skills: Minimum of 1 year OB experience. Need to be able to work labor &delivery, post-partum, mom/babe couplets, & well baby nursery, as well as be comfortable takingpost-surgicals (post-appe, post-chole, etc.) on the OB unit. Prefer some MedSurg background - is aCAH facility & can float to MedSurg unit as helping hands if no OB patients.- Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Oxytocin, mag, & insulin- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift: Do not have a charge nurse. Only staff 2 nurses/shift. Housesupervisor is in house 24/7 & is NRP trained.- Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit: No techs or aides- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7: In house during the day M-F, on-call after hours & onweekends/holidays.- Anesthesia in house 24/7: In house during the day M-F, on-call after hours & onweekends/holidays.- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Yes, Spacelab monitors. RNs not required to read theirown strips.- EFM System: OBIX- Shifts & Scheduling: 12Hr shifts, 7a-730p/7p-730a. Manager sets the schedule. Will try toaccommodate requests/blocks, if able. Schedule is out approx 2-months in advance/4-weeks at atime.- Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend - Fri/Sat/Sun- Holiday Requirements: Every 3rd holiday- Is there a call or standby requirement: No- Floating Requirements: Float to MedSurg as helping hands when OB closed. Can take post-surgicals(post-chole, post-appe, etc.) on OB unit.- Scrub Color/Dress code: Scrubs are provided- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: OB department orientation is 2 shiftsCore Staffing Job ID #174742.
