Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Facility: Jacobi Medical CenterLocation: 1400 Pelham Parkway South, Bronx, NY 10461Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMSchedule: Weekends Required

Duties:

Job Summary: An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.

Notes:

A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (can be obtained after the offer); and possession of a current advanced-level certification from ARRT is required. Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following: (only one (1) certification below is required) ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
