Job Details- Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care under routine or emergent conditions in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics.
- Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
- Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
- Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
- Conducts post-procedure review to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data/findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting.
- Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care and treatments.
Job Requirements- Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions reliably.
- Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
- Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Professional, polite, courteous, compassionate, and cooperative communication with staff, patients, and families.

- Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology; cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology associated with the primary specialty.
- Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision or assistance.
Additional Details- Must be able to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
