Shift Details:

• Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 12-hour shifts, 36–40 hours/week guaranteed

• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend

• On-call: None

Position Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for performing the nursing process as a basis for patient care. RNs provide direction and oversight to other licensed and non-licensed staff. The RNs show compassion to patients, coworkers, and surrounding communities through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, diversity, and professional excellence. The RN demonstrates excellent customer service and supports the mission and values.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' care needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess the plan.

• Provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups, including teaching and discharge planning with patients' families/significant others.

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in both individual and group settings.

• Document, report, and verify all necessary information according to policies and procedures.

• Monitor and report potential risks to patient safety to the physician(s).

• Promote a patient-centered, compassionate care environment across diverse clinical settings.

• Function as a clinical leader, delegating and coordinating staff assignments, and promoting staff development.

• Implement and review patient care protocols, standards of practice, and standards of care.

• Maintain professionalism and role model organizational mission and values in appearance, attitudes, and behaviors.

• Support recovery-focused and person-centered care in hospital and residential programs.

• Maintain annual programmatic training and competency.

• May function as charge nurse and supervise staff as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years behavioral health experience

• BLS certification required
