  • Orientation is weekly, on Mondays.

  • Licensed for 98 beds, 38 acute (includes Intensive Care beds) and 60 extended care beds.

    Job Requirements
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
  • Years of Experience: 3 to 5.
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: traumas - handle stabilization of traumas and prepare for transfer.
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: chest tubes, critical drips, traumas.
  • Required Education: RN license.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 7A-7P and 7P-7A.
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
  • Weekend Hours: must be able to work rotating weekends.
  • Call Requirements: no call.
  • Try to staff 3 days and 3 nights with a mid-shift from 10A-10P.
  • Many times, we can staff 4 and 4 throughout the shift.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: Emergency Department.
  • Role: RN.
  • Specialty: emergency nursing.
  • Number of Openings: currently 2 night shifts and 1 day shift.
  • Shift: 7A-7P and 7P-7A.
  • Number of Beds: 12 bed ED with an additional three areas for fast track patient.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6 or 1:4 depending on staffing.
  • Equipment: able to care for patients on ventilators, BiPAP, Central and Arterial lines.
  • EHR: Meditech.
  • Patient Population: all age groups.
  • Trauma Level: IV.
  • Must have skills: traumas - handle stabilization of traumas and prepare for transfer.
  • Preferred skills: chest tubes, critical drips, traumas.
  • Personality Fit: Willing to work as a team.
