Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, on call Employment Type: Travel Main Function of\nElectrophysiology Monitor: will provide assistance to the Electrophysiologist\nduring EP studies/Ablations and Cardiac implants. Cardiac implant or structural\nheart scrub experience is preferred but not required. Bloom stimulator experience is preferred but\nnot required. The ability to implement\nEP Pacing monoverses and understanding is required. GE (MacLab & CardioLab) system is\nrequired, to assist in pacing monoverse and measurements. Within the URMC we\ncoronate care with multiple vendors including Carto, Abbott, Rhythmia in\nablations, which the monitor will be assisting in set up. Epic is the main way to document in the\nprocedure within the lab. Epic experience is not required, but preferred. Responsible for commutating with MD and\nin-room staff to ensure all equipment and supplies is available. Assists in facilitating room turnover and on\ntime starts for timely patient care. Coordinates with Charge Nurse and\nthird-party vendors to ensure all team members will be available for scheduled\nprocedures.\n\n\n \n\n\nJob Requirements:\n- Tech License: RCES or Radiologic Tech license\n- 2 Years' experience\n\nJob Certifications:\n- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY\n\nCardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience\nis preferred but not required. \n\n\nGE (MacLab & CardioLab) system preferred but not\nrequired\n\n\nBloom Stimulator preferred but not required.\n\n\n \n\n\nList typical\nprocedures performed on unit(s):\n\n\nRF ablations (Cryo ablations): A fib/Fultter. Atrial\ntach, AVNRT, WPW and other ANRT ablations. (Mapping Systems include\nBiosense Webster Carto, Abbot Ensite/Precision, Rhythmia) \n\n\nDevice implants: Traditional pacemakers (single,\ndual, CSP, BiV) and ICD.
