We are currently seeking a dedicated Travel Dental Assistant to join our expanding team! As a Dental Assistant (DA), you will play a crucial role in our care team, providing vital support to our office and assisting professional dental staff in treatments. Responsibilities:

• Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Assist parents of minors and patients through our treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide postoperative care instructions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatment.
• Take X-rays and maintain patient charts (dependent on location).
• Ensure operational readiness of hygiene bays and operatory rooms.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix amalgam, cement, and other materials as needed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs, and rooms.
• Assist dental staff during treatment, including documenting patient information and treatment plans.
• Perform additional tasks such as suctioning, holding retractors, and suture cutting during surgeries.
• Pour, trim, and polish impression casts and fabricate custom impression trays.
• Adhere to all regulations, company standards, and compliance programs with integrity.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• SC X-ray Certificate.
• CPR-BLS Certification.
• Nitrous Oxide Certificate is preferred.
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
• Exhibit integrity by adhering to all regulatory, company, and compliance standards.
• Willingness to perform other assigned duties.
