AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CT Tech in Rochester, New York, 14642!Pay Information$2,600 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: CT Technologist Profession: Allied Level 2 CT Tech Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekend Mids Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience License: NYS licensure required prior to starting the position Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) required Must-Have: - Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology - Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Effective written and verbal communication skills - A patient and compassionate disposition - Ability to work as a team player Description: Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan. Strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility. Utilize safe patient handling techniques. Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within the electronic health record system. Ensure images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion. Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Injection certification is preferred and must be completed during the orientation process. Knowledge of imaging equipment preferred.10562212EXPPLATJob Requirements
