Job DescriptionTravel Rehab Occupational Therapist Assistant - Galveston, TX 13-Week Contract | Up to $2,100/Week Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No Weekends or Holidays Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a premier healthcare facility in Galveston, TX to find a passionate and experienced Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for a 13-week contract. • Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Competitive Weekly Pay: Up to $2,100/week (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• No weekends or holidays required

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in planning and implementing therapeutic programs
• Work closely with patients to improve strength, coordination, and motor function
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the rehab team
• Support patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery, particularly in an acute care Level 1 trauma center
• Ensure all therapy activities meet regulatory and safety standards

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OTA license in the State of Texas
• BLS Certification (preferred)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an OTA
• Acute care experience in a Level 1 trauma center required
