HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Watertown, New York.
Job Description & RequirementsTitle: Certified Surgical Technologist (Allied)Duration: 13 Weeks (09/22/2025 – 12/17/2025)Location: Watertown, NYShift:8-hour Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMWeekend, call, and holiday coverage required
Job Responsibilities:Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing sterile instruments and suppliesMaintain a sterile surgical environment ensuring equipment and instrumentation are properly cleaned, sterilized, and functioning safelyPerform technical scrub duties with precision and efficiency in all surgical situationsAssist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients under the direct supervision of an RNMay be required to precept and train new staffRespond and arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for emergency or on-call situationsFollow hospital and departmental standards, policies, and proceduresCollaborate with the operating room team to support a safe and effective surgical workflow
Required Qualifications:Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification – MUST BE CERTIFIEDTravel experience requiredOrthopedic surgical experience requiredScrubbing experience requiredDaVinci robotic surgical system experience requiredCompletion of an accredited Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligibleCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredMust comply with 60-mile radius ruleAbility to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts
Additional Information:Travel assignmentNo on-call for this assignment but must be available for call and respond within 30 minutes if called in
