Requirements:
- Must possess a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Floating Throughout Facility:
- Must be willing to float and work in different areas of the facility based on staffing needs.
- Adaptability to various units within the nursing home.
Weekend Commitment:
- Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
Assistive Devices:
- Safely use and assist residents with the use of mobility aids and assistive devices.
