Job Posting: Cath Lab Technologist – Premier Health PartnersSchedule & Shift Details
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Call Requirement:
- 1 mandatory call shift per week
- Every 4th weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Block Scheduling: Not permitted
- Orientation: All hours billable
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year recent cardiac cath lab experience
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience strongly preferred
- Certifications:
- ARRT R or CCI RCIS
- State Radiology License
- AHA BLS
- Charting System: Epic (required)
- Preferred Equipment Experience: MacLab
Unit Overview
- Lab Configuration:
- 5 Cath Labs
- 2 EP Labs (pacemakers, ablations, ICD insertions)
- Daily Census: Approximately 20 patients across all labs
- Level: High-acuity, Level 3 Cath Lab
- Procedures Include:
- Cardiac cath and peripheral angiography
- EP studies and cardiac device implantation
- Structural heart procedures: Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip
- Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Provide peri-procedural care and patient education
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation
Vaccine Guidelines
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Observed Holidays
- New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
- Holiday coverage: 11:00 PM prior day to 11:00 PM holiday
