Certification Details BLS California state radiologic registration California state fluoroscopy permit Job Details The Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is registered by the state of California Radiologic Association and possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit. The CIRT has responsibility, training and competence with diagnostic, routine and complex interventional cardiac angiographic and cardiac implant procedures. The duties also include routine and complex vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional and trauma procedures. The technologist is also trained in OR radiographs. CIRT's must have a combination of technical, radiologic and clinical skills. The CIRT is under the direction of the physician of record during a procedure and reports to the clinical coordinators and Director of Cardiology. The CIRT has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, cost effective care according to the philosophy and goals of the Patient Care Division. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic developmental and psychosocial needs of the patients. The CIRT supports the mission, vision values, and expectation of excellence of NorthBay Healthcare. Job Requirements Registered by the state of California Radiologic Association. Possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit. Schedule Information Variable hours of work. Stand-by availability required with 30-minute arrival time. Additional Details Demonstrates competence in clinical specialty. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a complex situation. Independent and reliable with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills. Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills in the English language. Adheres to established policies and procedures and exhibits defined characteristics associated with attendance and punctuality. Attendance is an essential function of the job. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills. Ability to move equipment. Delivers care specific to the special behavior/needs within the scope of services for Cardiology.
