    Job Details
  • The Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is registered by the state of California RadiologicAssociation and possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit.
  • The CIRT has responsibility, training and competence with diagnostic, routine and complex interventional cardiac angiographic and cardiac implant procedures.
  • The duties also include routine and complex vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional and trauma procedures.
  • The technologist is also trained in OR radiographs.
  • CIRT's must have a combination of technical, radiologic and clinical skills.
  • The CIRT is under the direction of the physician of record during a procedure and reports to the clinical coordinators and Director of Cardiology.
  • The CIRT has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, cost effective care according to the philosophy and goals of the Patient Care Division.
  • Care is provided according to the specific physiologic developmental and psychosocial needs of the patients.
  • The CIRT supports the mission, vision values, and expectation of excellence of NorthBay Healthcare.
    Job Requirements
  • Registered by the state of California Radiologic Association.
  • Possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit.
    Schedule Information
  • Variable hours of work.
  • Stand-by availability required with 30-minute arrival time.

  • Independent and reliable with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills in the English language.

  • Attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills.
