- The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- The Technician is responsible and accountable to perform studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist or Director of Imaging Services.
- Tech will work both Cath and EP (Electrophysiology) so must have EP experience.
- Expectations: scrub and monitor (recording).
- Will float between campuses if needed.
- Job Requirements
- Must have EP experience.
- RCIS certification required.
- Housing must be secured with acceptance.
- Schedule Information
- Shift: Days (7a-5:30p, 4 10s).
- 9-10 call shifts per schedule, includes one weekend.
- Schedule is six weeks in duration.
- Unit Specific Information
- Works in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) units.
- Additional Details
- Reason for opening: special, internal vacancy, leave coverage.
- Questions about position duration, floating to other units, number of beds, years of experience required, interview process, pending state license review, rehiring past clinicians, work schedule, EMR system, scrub colors/dress code, parking location.
