  • Twin County Regional Hospital is a 141-bed facility offering acute care, ambulatory care, and emergency services.
  • The hospital provides specialty care including Cardiac Rehabilitation, Emergency Services, Orthopedic Services, Pain Management, and Surgery.
  • The role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health specialty.
  • The position is located in the Behavioral Health unit with 12 beds and a patient ratio of 1:8.
  • The patient population is adult.
  • The role requires skills in de-escalation, communication, delegation to tech, assessment, isolation, restraint, and medical RN experience.
  • Common diagnoses treated include Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, and Personality Disorders.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.
  • Required certifications prior to start: BLS, CPI or Handle with Care.
  • 1-2 years of experience required.
  • Must have medical RN experience for float requirements.
  • Must complete Virginia Central Registry Release of Information form.
  • Must undergo Virginia Fingerprinting (FBI and VA State Police check).
  • Must complete Virginia State Police Criminal History Record Check.
  • Must complete Virginia Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
  • Weekend hours: Every other weekend / as needed.
  • Call requirements: As needed.
