Job Title: Trauma-Focused Clinician/Therapist with Professional Development Opportunities

Reports to: Clinical Director

Location: Bennington, Vermont

Salary: $58,000.00 and up, commensurate with experience.

Bring Your Expertise to Vermont Permanency Initiative! As a Clinician/Therapist at Vermont Permanency Initiative (VPI), you will deliver personalized, youth-guided, trauma-informed, and strength-based clinical services and support. Your role will involve providing individual, family, and group counseling, case management, and consultation and collaboration with other professionals. You will also maintain clinical records, engage in treatment and discharge planning, and work with consulting psychiatrists on medication management. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to VPI's policies and undertake other relevant activities when requested.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (license eligible)
  • Valid driver's license and 21+ years of age
  • Satisfactory completion of background and pre-employment checks

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy and case management services.
  • Maintain and report data related to clinical services to the Clinical Director as necessary.
  • Engage in treatment, permanency, and discharge planning with clients, families, and involved agency personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical records, including psychosocial reports, ITPs, case notes, and other assessments.
  • Collaborate with consulting psychiatrists regarding medication management.
  • Keep clinical license or status updated in the state registry.
  • Adhere to VPI's administrative structure and program philosophy.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
