Transporter II - Courier - Tucson Medical Center : Job Details

Collects and transports a variety of medical specimens, documents, and packages on and off the TMC campus. Handles incoming and outgoing US mail. Transports patients as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Adheres to TMC organizational and department specific safety, sanitation, confidentiality, standards of behavior and values of Compassion, Community, Dedication, and Integrity. Works collaboratively and supports efforts of other team members. Exhibits excellence in customer service through appropriate attitude and interaction with visitors and staff as well as with other hospitals that use services. Completes assignment log and obtains authorized signatures for each assignment. Records time of departure, destination, cargo and expected time of return. Sorts and processes incoming and outgoing mail. Collects and delivers mail, enters departmental correspondence, supplies, and other items as directed.
