Transporter I- South Lake Hospital- 2nd Shift - Orlando Health : Job Details

This self-motivated team member works independently as well as in a team setting to transport patients, equipment, Supplies, and lab specimens throughout the hospital facility. The transporter will help patients get on and off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs. Team member will maintain a clean and safe environment by disinfecting equipment before and after patient use. Responsibilities - Provides safe and efficient transport of patients to all areas of the hospital. Assesses patient to determine the most effective method for transport. - Communicates vital patient information with the department manager, group leads, and other appropriate team members. - Responsible and accountable for reaching individual productivity standards established by the department. - Transports charts and specimens in an efficient and confidential manner - Maintains all transportation equipment and assure its cleanliness and sanitary condition. - Demonstrates ability to log into and manipulate Epic Transport...Hospital, 2nd Shift, Transport, Customer Service, Transportation, Medical Equipment, Healthcare
