Your role on the team:
  • Monitors service calls to observe employee demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies and standardized work.
  • Recommends corrective actions to address customer complaints.
  • Serves as the direct point of contact for customer issues requiring immediate attention.
  • Escalates operational issues to the manager when necessary.
  • Coordinates with FAP on invoice resolution and carrier escalation.
  • Prepares month-end revenue accrual reports for the manager.
  • Prepares and collaborates on quarterly business reviews (QBR) for customers.
  • Ensures work procedures and SOPs are completed accurately.
  • Prepares work schedules and training for hourly employees.
  • Approves and tracks all hourly team members' schedules via UNITIME.
  • Supports Senior Transportation Planners during contingencies, focusing on cost-conscious truck securing following business rules.
  • Collaborates with accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate freight bill processing.
  • Audits invoices and assists with discrepancy investigations.
  • Follows up with carriers for timely invoice receipt.
  • Manages customer requirements for load planning and routing compliance.
  • Establishes cross-training initiatives within the team.
  • Assists with team member performance appraisals, discipline, and goal-setting.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%.
  • Works overtime as needed to support customer peaks and end-of-period activities.
  • What you need:
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience with Transportation Management Systems.
    • Experience with optimization tools is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
    • Effective presentation skills for groups of managers, customers, and colleagues.
    • Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
    • Ability to interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, schedule).
