Transportation Specialist - Dignity Health : Job Details

The Transportation Specialist transports Helping Hands clients to and from medical, nutrition and personal destinations, while providing excellent customer care and maintaining compliance with State, grant and program requirements. A special emphasis is placed on the development and maintenance of sensitivity to the needs of seniors and medically frail individuals within the community. Monitors physical and mental well-being of clients and provides appropriate resource referrals as needed. Maintains a cordial and professional work environment. Follows all Federal, State and Local traffic safety laws and regulations for the safe transportation of clients, including ADA safety regulations. Qualifications. Minimum. High School or equivalent First Aid Certification, Substance Abuse, Elder Abuse/ Adult Protective Services Training, Infection Control and Prevention, Defensive Driving, ADAPTS Securement Training to be completed within 30 days of hire Good knowledge of body mechanics 2 years c...Transportation, Specialist, Transport, Healthcare, Customer Service, Training
