Transportation Specialist - Primo Water Corporation : Job Details

Responsibilities Docking support for all accounts managed, to include manually docking pickups in TMS, supporting carrier training with how to dock in TMS, and key escalation contact for pick up issues with warehouse and 3 pl carriers Weekend support for dispatch, customer service, and OS&D, to include load coverage as needed, track and track, and 3 pl carrier issue escalation Follow up on late loads and provide the appropriate warehouse with the carriers new ETA Coordinate and manage daily freight movements, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods across multiple modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal) Monitor and optimize load planning and routing using transportation management systems (TMS) to maximize efficiency and reduce empty miles Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delays, disruptions, or exceptions in real-time Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify trends, improve service levels, and support continuous improvemen...Transportation, Specialist, Transport, Manufacturing, Support
