Transportation Planner - City of Fayetteville, AR : Job Details

The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a Transportation Planner to provide technical and administrative support in the area of regional transportation planning; to serve as a liaison between the City the Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and NCDOT. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a liaison between the City and external agencies and organizations. Coordinate federally mandated transportation planning program for the region; prepare and update the Fayetteville urban area's thoroughfare plan and collector street plan. Collect and analyze transportation engineering and planning data, providing information for inclusion in technical reports and presentations. Coordinates the preparation of short and long-range transportation planning studies. Reviews and analyzes transportation programs and transportation grant programs, including grant preparation and management.
