Transportation Planner - Global Channel Management : Job Details

The Transportation Planner role requires experience with Transportation Management Software, specifically:

• MercuryGate Transportation Management System (TMS) or relevant software,
• SAP,
• Knowledge of logistics costs,
• Responsibility for daily management of finished goods transport movement and freight payables,
• Transformation of orders (SAP delivery notes) into loads for tender, also known as “Load Management”,
• Creation of master billed loads (multiple orders on one BOL), consideration of low-cost modes in relation to transit time,
• Order maintenance including due dates, weights, etc.,
• Use of TMS each morning to identify “No Shows” for carrier follow-up.
