The Transportation Operations Manager is responsible for Transportation Operations at multiple sites within a predefined region. This role requires a candidate with proven ability to drive process improvements and adapt to our rapid growth while motivating teams to meet challenging deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Transportation Area Managers at various sites to optimize logistics operations
• Ensure safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in your region
• Perform supervisory duties in line with organizational policies and procedures
• Achieve and surpass operational goals
• Engage in strategic planning, performance appraisal, coaching, problem-solving, and staffing
• Mentor and develop team members for career growth
• Share best practices across shifts and networks
• Travel up to 50% may be required
• Work flexible hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Flexibility to work various shifts and hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
