Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and organized Transportation Manager to oversee the daily operations of client transportation services at our substance use treatment facilities. This role ensures that clients are transported safely, timely, and with professionalism to and from appointments, treatment programs, and other approved destinations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to working with individuals in recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the scheduling, routing, and dispatch of all facility transportation services.

  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and client care standards.

  • Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, and cleanliness in compliance with state and organizational requirements.

  • Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures that prioritize client safety, privacy, and dignity.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely transportation to and from appointments, group sessions, or external services.

  • Monitor and evaluate driver performance and provide ongoing training and support.

  • Respond to transportation-related incidents, emergencies, or client concerns promptly and effectively.

  • Track mileage, fuel usage, scheduling data, and generate reports as needed for compliance and operations review.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in logistics, business, or a related field .

  • Minimum of 2 years of transportation or logistics experience, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, or social services setting.

  • Previous supervisory experience strongly .

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL required

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage schedules and prioritize competing demands.

  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful when working with individuals with substance use disorders.

  • Familiarity with GPS/dispatch systems and basic vehicle maintenance.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
