The Transportation Operations Manager will oversee and optimize transportation operations within our organization. This role involves managing a team of dispatchers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven NYC transportation management experience, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the transportation operations team.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve complaints effectively.
• Conduct regular staff training on safety, operations, and customer service.
• Prepare detailed operational performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of transportation management experience in NYC.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analysis tools.
