Work Location: Hybrid Work Schedule (3-days office/2-days remote) in Houston, TX with domestic travel 25% of the time.

POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transportation Logistics Business Development Representative will play an integral role in driving our business growth and expanding our client base in the US territory for DAL USA. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who can leverage their industry knowledge, network, and business development skills to identify and secure new business opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attract new prospects and develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Establish pipeline of account prospects through continuous communications and engagement.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through effective sales techniques.
  • Maintain and build relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue goals and quotas.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Manage sales process from identification to negotiation and closing of new business.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and agreements for potential and current clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Engage with prospects through various channels to create meaningful connections.
  • Regularly update and maintain CRM software/system.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven sales experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in CRM's and Transportation Management Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for local travel.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Hybrid office environment with frequent customer interactions. Ability to handle stress associated with meeting deadlines.
