Transportation Attendant - Richland School District : Job Details

Supervises children at bus stops, interchange areas, and on bus going to and from school; assists bus driver as he/she may direct. Schedule: Monday-Friday, School Year Only - 181 Days/ Year 3.75 hours/day, split schedule: Morning 6:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. & Afternoon 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Salary: Range 1: $16.74 - $17.40 / Hourly Rate Minimum Qualifications & Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of experience working with children preferred. Ability to interact in a positive way with students, bus drivers, district, and community. Grooming and personality which establishes a desirable example for children. Good physical and mental health. Ability to demonstrate appropriate English usage and communication skills. Ability to use proper techniques and procedures for lifting and moving children incapable of providing assistance. Ability to demonstrate an understanding, patient, and receptive attitude toward children.
