Transportation Associate - Night shift - Wayfair : Job Details

Assess loading quality of truckloads in our middle mile network, including utilization, load securement, and packaging damage. Build strong partnerships with our fulfillment teams to drive improvements in loading practices. Communicate directly with our truckload and small parcel carriers to adjust schedules, ensure on time pickup, and manage delivery performance. Update Manhattan TMS with truckload movements and milestones. What Youll Need 2 years of experience in a warehousing or transportation function - experience in dispatching or trailer loading are a plus. Ability to walk the cross dock floor and physically inspect trailers for load quality, including climbing stepladders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Track record of building collaborative relationships and ability to partner with managers in other departments. Experience using a Transportation Management System such as Manhattan, Oracle, JDA or similar. Experience using Excel/ Google Sheets.
