Transport Operator - City of Albuquerque New Mexico : Job Details

Perform refuse transport duties and loading activities utilizing heavy equipment and eighteen wheel semi-tractor and trailer to transport refuse between City transfer station/convenience centers and the landfill; maintain assigned loading and transport equipment and perform a variety of other related duties in support of the Solid Waste Department. This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing. . . Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements High school diploma or GED; and. One (1) year of driving experience which requires the possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Course work in automotive technology, transportation technology or truck driving preferred.
