Acting as both a trusted advisor and a business development expert, the Transformation Executive represents NTT Data's comprehensive capabilities in a way that resonates with clients' unique needs and aspirations. This role demands a masterful storyteller who builds credibility with senior executives and partners with them to shape their technology strategies.Ideal candidates are seasoned professionals with proven success in transformational sales, and many have served as CIOs, CTOs, or CDOs leading organizational transformations. More than a typical sales role, this position blends business development expertise with strategic solutioning to help clients unlock their full potential. The ideal candidate has experience in solutioning as an architect and thrives on influencing high-level business decisions within the Private Equity and Venture Capital domains.Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with C-Suite executives, earning their confidence through deep expertise in the Private Equity/Venture Capital sectors and their portfolio companies
- Develop and present Points of View (POVs) that demonstrate innovative strategies across a wide array of offerings, such as operational efficiency, revenue growth, cost management, and emerging technology adoption
- Proactively engage with client leadership teams to understand their needs and challenges, leveraging thought leadership to identify and shape transformative opportunities
- Collaborate across NTT DATA's multi-solution teams, including Sales, Client Executives, Consulting Engagement Leads, and Solution/Enterprise Architects, ensuring alignment with clients' business goals and delivering measurable value
- Communicate complex solutions and business concepts with clarity and precision to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams, ensuring shared understanding of vision, scope, and value propositions
- Stay informed about cutting-edge trends and technologies, including cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and applications, to design competitive and forward-thinking solutions
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years' experience in transformational sales, complex deal pursuits, or consulting-focused business development roles, with a strong preference for candidates in the IT services and consulting sectors
- At least 8 years of proven business origination experience in the Private Equity/Venture Capital space, ideally with exposure to portfolio organizational structures
- Demonstrated ability to develop pursuit strategies across domains such as M&A transaction advisory, technology transformation, sustainability, and operational value creation
- Strong track record of driving results and managing pursuit cycles in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%, with potential for international engagements
