About The JobThe GTB Institutional Sales group is part of the Global Transactional Banking (GTB) division and plays a key role within BBVA's global Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) network. The team is responsible for delivering transactional banking coverage to local and international Financial Institutions and Financial Sponsors. GTB Institutional Sales aims to provide consistent, in-depth, and dedicated coverage across the BBVA network, with the goal of deepening relationships with our clients and supporting their strategic and operational needs.
We are seeking a dynamic, globally minded professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering best-in-class service to both existing and prospective institutional clients with operations in the US. The individual will collaborate closely with local and global relationship management teams to provide seamless client coverage and support.
The role involves proactively supporting the Senior Bankers of the GTB Institutional Sales Team to help them achieve the strategic and financial goals of the GTB division. This includes enhancing client engagement, optimizing internal processes, and enabling bankers to spend more time developing client relationships and growing revenues.
The candidate will assist bankers with the preparation of call reports, industry and client research, financial and profitability analysis, and the development of materials for internal reporting and client presentations. Additional responsibilities include supporting bankers in client meetings, preparing presentation materials, managing onboarding and credit approval workflows, and overseeing the implementation of banking products and solutions. Ensuring the efficient and accurate use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other internal systems is also a key aspect of the role.
Moreover, the candidate will take ownership of the full lifecycle of client onboarding, credit application processes and renewals, while also contributing to ad hoc projects for the Head of GTB.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
