🎯 About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated Training Coordinator to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our Patient Financial Services team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

As a Training Coordinator, you'll work with training managers, principal trainers, and operational leadership to deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to support new hire onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives. This role's primary goal is to ensure that employees have the skills that they need to meet organizational goals. You'll work closely with Training staff, Epic, and Operations to ensure the delivery of high quality end-user training. Training Coordinators are responsible for program delivery that supports the successful education of Revenue Cycle staff across the Albany Med Health System.

New hire must become Epic certified within the time outlined upon offer.

🔍 What You'll Do

• Design and deliver Epic system training specific to applications, as well as foundational AMHS Revenue Cycle Academy Training Program content to support end users' understanding of the workflows for which they will be responsible. This training will be delivered in-person and virtually.

• Design ad-hoc training sessions providing targeted training support to small groups, address training tickets through virtual sessions, and 1:1 remediation training for existing staff is required in addition to onboarding program efforts.

• Develop job aids, resources, and staff communications that end users will use as reference documents across campus sites.

• Respond to training tickets, trouble shoot with end users and provide instruction to resolve issues and include location of resources for reference.

• Maintain classroom instructional materials as needed.

• Material preparation for onboarding Academy sessions.

• Provide Quality Assurance review of new hire proficiency and productivity during training.

• Give session summaries and feedback to management.

• Perform site visits to meet with operational leadership and end users to identify training opportunities, answer end-user questions, and recommend training plans.

📋 What You Bring – Must Have's

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare curriculum design/delivery.

• Healthcare experience specific to Rev Cycle content area.

📋 What You Bring – Strong Candidates Will Have

• Experience in curriculum design/delivery.

• Previous Epic experience within specified applications.

• Ability to learn quickly and manage complex workflows independently.

• Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations. This includes presenting information in a clear and interesting manner, commanding audience attention, developing effective materials, and handling questions or challenges from the audience.
