Are you a skilled organizational development coach or consultant who thrives on helping teams evolve, leaders grow, and companies succeed through strategic people solutions?
At HTI, our Workplace Strategies (WPS) division is redefining how organizations approach workforce transformation. We're looking for an experienced Training & Organizational Development Specialist to lead high-impact consulting projects focused on leadership development, workforce strategy, talent optimization, and cultural alignment.
The ideal Training & Organizational Development Specialist is an experienced OD professional with a coaching mindset, facilitation expertise, and a track record of delivering measurable results across varied organizational settings—from corporate offices to manufacturing floors.
What You'll Do
The Training & Organizational Development Specialist will serve as a strategic consultant and project leader, designing and delivering learning experiences and workforce solutions that address real-time business challenges. This includes:
Training & Facilitation
- Deliver dynamic, high-engagement workshops and coaching sessions (virtual & in-person) tailored to client needs in areas like leadership, hiring, and workforce management.
- Translate business needs into actionable training and development plans that create lasting behavioral change.
- Design custom OD programs that support growth, team effectiveness, and performance improvement.
Consulting & Project Leadership
- Lead complex, multi-phase client projects—from diagnostics and assessment to delivery and evaluation.
- Manage workforce transitions, hiring initiatives, and startup implementations with a focus on long-term organizational sustainability.
- Use data from workplace forensics and other diagnostic tools to assess gaps and drive recommendations.
Process Optimization & Strategic Alignment
- Partner with HR leaders and senior management to align people strategies with business goals.
- Facilitate conversations that uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, and promote cultural shifts.
- Document and improve workforce-related processes, embedding continuous improvement into every initiative.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Be the face of HTI for key accounts, providing thought leadership and guidance on talent and organizational issues.
- Support proposal development and consultative selling to expand services and generate new opportunities.
- Present insights, outcomes, and recommendations to C-level audiences with clarity and confidence.
What Sets You Apart
- You're a natural facilitator and trusted coach—equally comfortable in front of a leadership team or on a plant floor.
- You think like a consultant: diagnosing problems, delivering insights, and driving meaningful outcomes.
- You're energized by project-based work that's varied, fast-paced, and client-focused.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in HR, organizational development, leadership coaching, or workforce consulting.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5-8 days per month (distributed across multiple weeks) to support client engagements, including training delivery, coaching and project implementation.
- Strong project management skills and ability to execute end-to-end client engagements.
- Demonstrated experience in workshop facilitation and instructional design.
- Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPLP, PMP, or coaching credentials) strongly preferred.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
