• Diagnose and repair trailer issues, including electrical wiring, bearing failures, axle repairs, and brake systems.
• Perform MIG welding and fabrication to repair or modify trailer components.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure trailer safety and reliability.
• Install and service aftermarket truck beds and trailer accessories, ensuring proper functionality.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams for accurate troubleshooting.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely at job sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients to assess service needs, provide repair updates, and schedule maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Welding Expertise: Proficient in MIG welding and fabrication for trailer repairs.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring and lighting systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Proven experience in trailer repair, including axles, bearings, brakes, and suspensions.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail to resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Communication: Clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Reliability: Strong attendance, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Equipment Operation: Familiarity with forklifts and other shop equipment (preferred but not required).
