Job Description :

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
  • Be knowledgeable about the product.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Answer questions about the products.
  • Negotiate prices and terms.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Review customers' credit status and collect monies owed.
  • Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community.
  • Must provide own transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
  • Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks.
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and electronic mail proficiency.
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
