Job Location: Dallas, TX
Essential Duties:
Warehouse Operations & Safety
- Supervise daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate storage, retrieval, and shipping of goods.
- Oversee the organization and upkeep of warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Enforce and maintain all company safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
Inventory Management
- Coordinate with procurement and QC teams to manage incoming shipments and ensure proper storage.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform regular audits, and collaborate with purchasing on replenishment.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Distribution & Logistics
- Plan and oversee the distribution process to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
- Monitor distribution performance and implement improvements to drive efficiency.
- Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of warehouse, inventory, and shipping staff.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and/or distribution.
- Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Working Conditions and Hazards:
- Some work in physical plant environment where plant may be required, and safety precautions are required.
- May encounter some unpleasant working conditions of brief duration.
- Little to no contact with hazardous conditions.
