Traffic Monitoring Operator - Virginia Beach - AECOM Corporation : Job Details

AECOM is seeking Traffic Monitoring Operator(s) located in Virginia Beach, VA. The shift hours available for the position(s) are 1st shift (5:15 am to 1:45 pm), 2nd shift (1:15 pm 9:45 pm) and/or 3rd shift (9:15 pm 5:45 am). Shift will be assigned after training is completed. The pay rate is $22.00/hour. The operator position uses several software platforms and web-based applications to perform tasks. Transportation Operations Center (TOC) Operators are responsible for using Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) software to monitor Department roadways and manage events/incidents; dispatching incident management personnel through 2-way radios; and communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with other staff, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) personnel, and partner agencies.
