Traffic Engineer - Selectek Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Traffic Engineer in the Tysons, VA area. Responsibilities: Planning and project management involving transportation design projects. Lead the preparation of traffic design projects: Including traffic signal, lighting, maintenance of traffic, detour, pavement marking and signing projects. Preparation of technical documents to include traffic analysis studies, site access, and circulation evaluation studies. Signal warrant, design exception/waiver documentation and proposal preparation. Attending, participating, leading project meetings. Working with traffic engineering and transportation planning initiatives with other offices. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a mix of knowledge, skills and experience including project management, public presentation, analytical and organizational skills. B. S. degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
