Traffic Engineer - Neel-Schaffer : Job Details

Neel-Schaffer is seeking a Traffic Engineer for our Huntsville, AL office. Do you have a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and project experience with traffic signal design, corridor studies, traffic impact and safety studies, traffic simulation modeling, and familiarity with programs like HCS, Synchro, PTV Vistro/Vissim, and SIDRA?

• BSCE from an ABET-accredited university
• Licensed professional registration in Alabama or Tennessee, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 5+ years of progressive traffic/transportation experience

• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage and assist in producing design deliverables
• Proficiency with MicroStation, GIS, or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
