Connecting you to great benefits Weekly Paychecks Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) 401(k) w/ Company Match Stock Purchase Plan Education Reimbursement Legal Insurance What you'll do as a Traffic Control Coordinator Direct and control the flow of traffic at construction sites, roadworks, and other areas requiring traffic management to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists Oversee and manage a team of flaggers at a construction site Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Working knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements. Must be highly computer proficient. Possess valid Driver's License Must be able to pass background and drug screen Good organization, multi-tasking, time management and documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience / knowledge of State, Highway Department & Municipal requirements for Tele-Communications construction permitting processes Working knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Professional and Microsoft Project. Some knowledge of As Builts Ability to work independently Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels. Ability to interact effectively with other team members Must be able to follow instructions and directions to perform job tasks. Qualifications: Associates Degree in a related field or 1-3 years of related work experience TCS Certified and have TCS Certification Card Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks Authorized to work in the United States Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check Workplace Environment and Physical Demands: To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions. Work is performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation, and in rugged terrain such as back easements, rural locations and at active construction sites. Noise level can range from moderate to loud and from intermediate to constant.
