We are an SEC Registered Investment Advisor working with high net worth individuals and their families to offer comprehensive wealth advisory. We additionally serve as a chief investment officer to other financial advisors and their clients in a sub advisory capacity. We are committed to delivering institutional caliber investment solutions that help our clients achieve their investment goals. We have built expertise in constructing tailored, tax sensitive portfolios incorporating all asset classes, via individual securities, exchange traded funds and private vehicles as appropriate.

Job Role: Trading Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Trading Associate to join the Trading & Execution team who is excited at the prospect of contributing to the growth and success of our business. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, is passionate about investing, and has a quantitative background. The associate will help the trading team with the execution of investments across all asset classes for our clients approximately $500mm of assets under management.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute trades across client portfolios, model trading, block trading, tax loss harvesting and Alternative Investments trading
  • Use portfolio rebalancing system to analyze and approve daily trades
  • Assist in the trade settlement/reconciliation process
  • Closely monitor account filters created to identify opportunities to trade client accounts
  • Create ad hoc trade reports as requested, including model updates
  • Proposal building and analysis of incoming client portfolios
  • Develop customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for clients
  • Data maintenance within several systems across the investment platform
  • Collaborate with internal team and outside firms as we act as Outsourced Chief Investment Officer for other financial advisors
  • Provide support for client relationship building and business development activities
  • This is a full time work from office position

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree 2-3+ years financial services experience preferably in a trading support role
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Analytical and logical
  • Proficient with Excel Experience
  • Black Diamond Rebalancer experience, or comparable
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with equity, fixed income, and mutual fund securities and markets
  • Familiarity with programming languages a plus
  • Interest in pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst designation a plus
